Nadia Yavorskaya
I graduated with a 5-year degree in geochemistry ( the equivalent of a M.Sc. in Canada ) from the Saint-Petersburg State University. After graduation I worked at the Geological Servey of Russia as a research geologist. For the past 10 years I heve been working in Canada as a geologist in contract and consulting roles. I have over 20 years experience in geology and geochemistry including work on gold, base metals and rare element projects in Canada, Russia, Argentina and Kazakhstan.
For the past several yeas I have concentrated on the reinterpretation of existing geochemical suveys using state of the art multi-element statistical analysis.
My experience includes:
- Exploration for gold and base metal mineralization in greenstone belts and porphyry systems
- Mineralogical, petrological and geochemical research in
- Granitoids and associated W-Mo-Sn deposits
- Akaline massifs and associated REE deposits
- Field work in isolated regions :
- Geological mapping at scales - 1:200 000, 1:50 000, 1:2000
- Drill programs and preliminary ore reserve calculations
- Soil, till and rock geochemical surveys
Co-operation:
I have co-operated with geophysical companies as well as subcontracting geologists and technicians as needed.
